Monel 400 Plate
The alloy is not only resistant to corrosion by seawater, salt spray and high-speed flowing media, but also has excellent resistance to alkaline solutions, organic acids and dry halogen gases, making it an ideal choice for marine engineering, chemical processing and oil and gas extraction.
Unlike ordinary stainless steel, Monel 400 Plate can maintain good toughness and strength in a wide temperature range from sub-zero to about 480°C, and has no brittle transition temperature. Its excellent hot and cold processing properties allow complex shapes to be made through rolling, stamping and other processes. At the same time, it has comparable weldability to most nickel-based alloys. It is often used to manufacture ship pumps and valves, chemical reactor linings, and key corrosion-resistant structural parts in oil and gas pipeline systems.
