2205 Duplex stainless steel seamless pipe/tube is a duplex stainless steel pipe, which is composed of austenite and ferrite, and has both high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Its typical composition includes chromium (about 22%), nickel (about 5%) and molybdenum (about 3%), which makes it show excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environment.
The mechanical strength of 2205 duplex stainless steel pipe/tube is significantly higher than that of ordinary austenitic stainless steel, and it has good weldability and machinability.
