Different from other pure titanium grades, Gr.2 plates show unique adaptability in environments containing trace reducing media. When the operating temperature does not exceed 300°C, the dense oxide film formed on its surface can effectively resist weak acid, weak alkali and salt spray corrosion. This feature is widely used in key parts such as condenser plates of geothermal power generation equipment and circulating water systems of coastal nuclear power plants.

In addition, its excellent anti-cavitation performance also makes this material an ideal choice for fluid machinery components such as high-speed seawater pipelines and propeller guide edges.
