Atmospheric Corrosion Resistant C26100 Brass Bar/Rod
This material has a conductivity of 28% IACS and an elongation of ≥50%. It not only meets the conductivity requirements of electrical connectors, but is also suitable for complex cold processing such as stamping and bending. It is widely used in the manufacture of shells, bathroom hardware and musical instrument parts. Its hot forging temperature range (600-750℃) and low-temperature toughness (maintaining performance at -40℃) enable it to adapt to a variety of processing environments and usage scenarios.
Compared with traditional brass rods, C26100 performs outstandingly in surface treatment. It can be polished to a mirror effect or enhanced corrosion resistance through plating. At the same time, its 100% recyclable characteristics meet the requirements of the circular economy. Compared with C26000, it has more environmental advantages while having similar mechanical properties. It is an ideal choice for fields with high requirements on material purity, such as military industry and electronic connectors. Its cost is also 20-30% lower than high-copper brass (such as H90).
