Polishable High Tensile Strength C24000/H80 Brass Coil/Strip
Its surface can be polished to a mirror effect and is widely used in high-end building hardware, musical instrument parts and decorative parts. It shows excellent corrosion resistance in fresh water and atmospheric environments, but long-term exposure to chlorine-containing environments should be avoided.
Compared with ordinary brass, H80 alloy produces more continuous debris during cutting, which can reduce tool wear by more than 20%, and is particularly suitable for the manufacture of parts that require precision processing. The material also has a conductivity of about 30% IACS and is often used in low-voltage electrical contacts and other scenes that require both structural strength and a certain degree of conductivity. For harsh environment applications, it is recommended to further enhance its corrosion resistance through surface treatment such as nickel plating or chrome plating.
